Great staff and great food. Beer and wine and spirits. Jukebox and pool tables. With a dance floor. And a back room bar for members and patrons who'd like a cigarette with their beverage but seperated from the main area so no smoke overwhelms any other patron.

Great almost hole in the wall. Coleslaw, yes the Coleslaw was fantastic. The sandwich with it was really good too.

Been going to Joes for a long time. The pizza is some of the best in town. Always a great selection of beer on tap and in bottles. Awesome burgers. Friendly service. Really can’t go wrong if you’re wanting to go to a neighborhood bar.

Just tried this place last Friday after eating next door. Really like the place. Good atmosphere for a bar, reasonably priced drinks, good beers on tap, that's all you need. Full of people but not crowded.

Exceptional food and service

I've known joe, the owner of a long time, sometimesI might not going there for two or three years with the same wait staff is always there and they're friendly and nice and you just don't see that everyday. I got a couple appetizers fried mushrooms and fried pickles and then they were delicious and I'm sure the rest of the menu just is as good, wonderful place good bargain fine good recreational pool good service everything you need.

Great food and drinks are always made right. Staff work as a team so they all will check on you and get you anything you need rather than having to wait on someone specific. Have never left unhappy or disappointed

I’ve eaten here a few years ago, it was great! Ordered from door dash today and the experience was nowhere near the first. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. The chicken was so over cooked that when I took the first bite, the whole piece of chicken wanted to come with it. There was no buffalo flavor at all. When I called, the guy who answered the phone seemed bothered and said “well I can make you another one” didn’t say sorry, didn’t say how long it would be, didn’t ask my name, nothing...as if it was going to be an inconvenience. I agreed to it at first and then called back because I decided it wouldn’t even be worth my time to drive up there for another dry piece of chicken.

Amazing service the staff is super on point, and the food that they serve is just straight up delicious , also have Poole table and video arcades its just an awesome place to take girl and kids or who ever and of course a juke box for the soul ☺

Very forgetable, someone put good money into the decor and atmosphere, for the employees to barely acknowledge someone going there for the 1st time...and on their birthday

The bartender was excellent. The vibe kinda reminded me of "Cheers." The patrons knew each other as well as the staff, and it was altogether fun experience.

We just moved to Sanford about a month ago. We first tried local joes once they reopened after lock down for corona. Jake and Michelle are really fantastic bar tenders/servers. The pizza is fantastic and the wings are perfect. The food has been great every single time we go. It’s a really fantastic little bar and you will be impressed with whatever you order. If you’re ever in the Sanford area, you have to stop by and grab a pizza!

Great place to eat for burgers, pizzas, appetizers. Exceptional service, great prices, nice atmosphere. Lots of posters of musicians, decor of sporting gear. Bar with many beer choices, mixed drinks. Lots of table choices, including high seating. Adjacent pool tables and video games, many televisions, music players.

Super chill place to get a local flavor. Pizza was great. Staff is very friendly. I'll be back!!!

Nice bar and good food. The only thing that sucks is when you order food busy or not to take forever to get it.

Really terrible tonight. The food and wait was just awful and the place was empty around 6 although we did have a large group.

This place is certainly more than what first meets the eye! Fun location with great beer selection, lots of (mostly) good country music playing, and some pretty dang good bar food!

Buffalo chicken sandwich was very dry and had no flavor. The fries were stale. The chicken wings were good.

Great food and a great loacl place. I love that they have two rooms and you can play pool. Service is always great. The staff are very friendly! The place is always clean and very well kept. They have two juke boxs one in each room but it's not over powering. Lots of space so you don't feel crowded. I recommend you check it out!

Good drinks, but the food could have been better. Most of what we ordered from the appetizer selection was either over cooked or undercooked.

This place is my Cheers! The burgers are tops made any way you like. Also they have some of the best wings I had in a long time with many sauce options. Guiness on tap! With a great beer selection and rotating seasonal treats. Wonderful friendly pub atmosphere enhanced with a gracious staff. I can recommend no other place after a hard days work.

This is a awesome place to go for great food or a good drink. The staff is absolutely amazing and the owner is one of the coolest guys ever. Hard to find a place anymore where you can shake the owners hand.
